Wow, what a cold, cold end! I didn't see it coming.

She was sweet girl but not that sweet. Charlie was supposed to take the hit so Barry wouldn't suffer Bobby's vengence. That's because the narrator was just bright enough to be dangerous to her stalking horse while she was riding with him, to be ridden by him. She was a little bit twisted and got caught in the egg beater of fate. Loved it.

The point of the story is that she is trying to piss off Bobby, but inadvertently pisses off Barry. Who cares what happens to the slut!

At the end when she realized her stupid machinations caused her potential death and that the one doing it was the man she proclaimed to love! The gif of Henry Muntz going Ha Ha from the Simpson popped into my head.
