You're killing me. Which Caravaggio has Piper in it? I looked at a bunch of them and, maybe I'm obtuse, but I can't see her!
Check "The birth of Venus" by Botticelli. The description of Piper's pose was VERY reminiscent of Venus in that work. I think its about the same time period, but of course the work of the two artists is very different. I prefer Botticelli. It was still a fun story. I gave it a 5. Cowboy100
Thanks to all of the readers who took the time to read, vote, favorite and, or course, comment on my short story.
Piper's pose was indeed very similar to Botticelli's Birth of Venus, but the work that Caravaggio chose to paint her likeness in was Judith Beheading Holofernes. He used her image for Judith, where he captured Piper's determination in the face of adversity, and used his own likeness for her victim, Holofernes.
And the charcoal sketch that Caravaggio drew of Piper reclining nude on the pillows, capturing the wonder in her eyes as the professor showed her new worlds, still sits unattributed and forgotten in the dusty archives beneath a palazzo in Rome, waiting to be rediscovered.
How come I can't give this story a 20? It definitely deserves it. Thank you, author. Thank you very much.
I want you to know that as far as smut goes, this is some of the best. Good sex and great story. perfect combination. 5 stars.
Historical characters were pretty halfhearted, but hey. It's erotica. Good work, good story mechanic, half realistic dialogue and a surpisingly well put together endgame. 5 stars, because this is one of the best.
Oh. Amazing piece of writing! Deserves to be published! A truly wonderful read rivaling Heinlein's J.o.b. comedy. Also witty and intelligence; good "horse sense." The story just pulled me into the seat; Barr came down and off we went. A true fantasy.
I have read your entire collection, saving this for last. Wonderful writing Sean (Shawn in 'murican). Please consider entering this piece into one of the many sci/fi mags. I also enjoyed those poor teens and sex zombies as well.
I really enjoyed that! It had a solid ending, but left a vast future to the imagination of your readers. Well done.
