nice, sweet

Thot i recognized it as a slice of a longer novel over at stories online.

it is nice and sweet though.

Sweet

I especially like the getting ready part, with the kids helping out. A very amusing role reversal.

Nicely done.

How about chapter 2 being the story of the kids

Since the teen boy and girl were having a sleepover in one house while their parents made it in the other house, bet they did not play checkers all night.

Perfection, pure perfection

As a widower approaching the September of life, the tenderness of this tale hit me hard ... most likely as it so perfectly parallels my own friendship with a caring woman that is now in its third year. This could be be my own autobiography. Carry on, author, whoever and wherever you are!

Great story but needs an ending

I think it was good to show all the nervousness in the beginning.

I would have liked to see a longer ending with marriage and see what transpires between both kids.
