On this day, I was 20 and had just finished my junior year at a mid-major state university in Ohio. Instead of a 1971 Pinto, my car was a 1969 Mustang. What I wouldn’t have given for such a woman to find her way into my life. If even a fraction of this story is based on actual events, you were a lucky fellow indeed.
