What an event - slow building but what a climax - will be interesting to see how you do the middle and then the finish. Chapter numbering need to be spaced separately and a few grammar faults, but over all very well done. Everything that could happen did, with good transitions.

I could not finish reading the story. Framing women as useless out of control manipulative uncaring creatures of limited mental ability to anticipate consequences, turns my stomach.
