So many adjectives are rolling through my head ... bittersweet, heartwarming, beautiful, inspirational ... I think almost everyone has lived through an experience with unrequited love. Unfortunately, it sounds like your experience was more involved and far deeper than most.

You sound like a very smart woman with a good head on her shoulders. Don't ever give up because I know one day you'll meet your soulmate. Your past relationships will pale in comparison when you meet that "someone".
