I've met good officers and bad officers- and officers- like the ones in this story- where doing the right thing was important- and the fact that it might cost his- or her- life didn't matter. I enjoyed the story- and particularly liked the end. Keep it up!

I was wondering how the sex scene tied in at first but you wrapt it up expertly. A happy ending to a fantastic story!
