Have just red all the 5 parts of this story, well be looking out for part 6 wich I hope will be soon

I read the first chapter many years ago and really enjoyed it. The next three chapters came out this year with one day intervals and then this chapter was four monthes in coming. I hope that we are going to see more chapter

in the next days. He really put a curve ball in the story by loaning the money to Grace. At the end of the last chapter I stated that this business of going away to college ends most relationships and now he turns it viable!

Will someone call him a moron for this?

Your first Chapter explaining why Tom was on his own,really shook me up.

So many BTB Anons. on here, I'm surprised that they are so quiet about it.

Tom's Father really did what so many Men want to do when their Wives 'Go Walkabout' that I was expecting cheering in the Comments section...

A well written story (for me) and enjoyable,even though I was waiting for the other shoe to drop - suspenseful for sure !!

Reading the end again confirmed my opinion that Laney will NOT be coming back as anything other than a 'Friend With Benefits' - meaning Mom will be stuck paying the first years Fees and probably not able to pay the next lot due...

Perhaps stopping the story here is not such a bad idea,as it probably means more Pain and Heartache for young Tom ?

Whatever you decide - you are a darn good writer - please keep on.

The climax was in the very begining of your story, (like the millatary training films, with a hot babe in the begining, to wake you up, pay attention to the boring training flim). No more anti-climaxes, no mega-climax, nothing. Some people think you write good but NOT this time. I was very interested how you would pull everthing together but you droped the football. I am sorry, you got all 5s and my attention till the dead end ending, 1. Sorry but you write alot better than this. I hope you understand my critazimim........Good Luck, Your Friend, MrBilll

What happened here? I'm new to this site and its been a long time since chap 5 was written.

Not a bad story so far, but I'm sad to see, that the story hasn't been updated in a couple of years.

Completion urgently requested.

One of the worst things about free story sites is that many writers don't stick it out to finish the tales they begin. Here is another example of a wonderful story that was never completed.

Jake60, thanks for what you did give us. I just wish we could have found out what the future held for Tom, Laney and Grace.

A wonderful well written story that has never been completed. This leave the reader wondering why it wasn't, did the author run out of ideas, did something happen to the author?

I really liked the flow of this story. Could see where the future chapters could be interesting. I hope that you will continue with the story.

Just found the story and red through the published chapters 1-5. I see the last was completed several years ago. It is a shame to see it incomplete.

Just found this story and was really enjoying it. Disappointed to find that it is unfinished.

I like this series and see great potential for additional chapters. Hope the author is well as the last story is date in Jan of 2011. Perhaps FTDS can find their way to completing the series.

This is exactly why I avoid multi-part stories on this site. Far too many have been left unfinished. I can’t believe I wasted my time reading this!

I normally go to the last page and make sure it’s finished. I didn’t this time and now I’m afraid to read anything they post. Shame I liked the characters even if it’s a bit simple.

It was good until I was disappointed with no finish. If ever finished I expect to see Lanny falling for some guy at college and Tom falling for Grace. True there is ~14yrs difference but she is still a MILF and those Sunday dinners will help create a lasting bond.

I also usually go to the last page to be sure I will be reading a complete story. Only one entry after this one with a different summary. My guess is that something catastrophic happened. Good story line. It is a little simple, but interesting. 3*

All of you marking this story down because it doesn't have a conclusion should be ashamed. Judge the story that is there rather than a story that isn't there and you didn't read.

Great story, the sad start was about it a let down but the rest was great. It's a true Shane that the story wasn't finished as it was a great read.

For those of you wondering about the incomplete stories. If memory serves me correctly this author passed away.

Sorry Jake,no story that is not finished should be allowed to be submitted..most of us will never be back to see this ending as reading other stories will carry us away in other directions so I and others have wasted our time on this story....o stars

Agree with previous comment re unfinished stories. 0ne star cuz there’s no way to award zeros.
