Yea, like that's going to happen. But there was no way I would be able to tell them exactly that. I had to get away from them—they really seemed like a bunch of lunatics. I should really call the seventh floor to find out if any patients escaped from psych ward. "Actually, that sounds like a good idea," I stated, and surprised the three men. It seemed that Cullen was about to fight for me to change my mind.

"That's great news!" Gavin replied still shocked that I gave in so easily to have dinner. Gavin continued, "Just give us your address and I will make sure that a car is sent ov..."

"NO!" I stated fast, but tried to cover it up as fast as possible. "Umm...I mean that won't be necessary." Cullen looked ready to argue with me, but I quickly continued, "Why don't you just meet me in the hospital's lobby in the North building since I get off my shift in about 2 hours?" Even though I do finish in two hours, I will be in the complete opposite direction. I always exit out in the South building, and walk to the employee parking lot, so that I can go straight to my classes right afterwards. And tomorrow I will just ask if someone will be able to switch floors with me.

Cullen didn't seem ready to trust me right off the bat. I did try to look as innocent and sweet as possible. I was trying to look as if I wanted to have this dinner, so that I could fool them. I had to get away from these guys. Cullen replied, "then it is set. In two hours, I will meet you in the lobby. And since it will be way too early to have dinner right away, we can just start talking to just to know each other first, and then after dinner, we can continue to have our talk, as I have a lot to tell you.

I nodded. "That's fine. I will be there." I continued with, "but I'm sorry guys, I really need to get back to work if I am to leave in two hours."

"Very well my lady," Gavin responded while he then gave me a curt nod. Owen didn't say anything. He just stood there, with no expression showing on his face.

"Until we meet again my Angel," said Cullen, lifting her hand to his lips and placing a chaste kiss on it, "please don't be late. I do not like tardiness."

I was about to respond back to that last little comment, but I had to bite my tongue. If we were to start arguing again, I wasn't so sure they would ever leave me. Finally though, they left. I hurried to finish my work as fast as I possibly could have. I refused to go back up again. When my shift was over, I walked fast to clock out and then headed to the parking lot. After a couple minutes, I started up my car and just pulled out fast heading towards school.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"What the bloody hell is taking her so long?" I asked irritatingly, as I glanced down at my watch again. "She is fifteen minutes late!"

"Cullen, she will be here... she has too." But Gavin was starting to have his own doubts. Angel did give in to the invite faster than any of us expected. Perhaps that should have sent big warning signs in my head, but that smile of hers...made a man loose concentration. She really does have guts—I like her already! Smirking to myself again as I shook my head slowly.

Growling, as I felt my wolf getting upset as the facts became very clear. We have been tricked! She lied to us! Grrr, wait till I get my hands on her again. Just you wait Angel.

Just then, Owen came running over toward where Cullen and Gavin stood. "I just actually got this information from one of her co-workers. They actually bought the story, that I was a friend and was planning on surprising Angel at work. But... she isn't here Alpha. She left. Actually, she left for her classes."

Cullen felt his temper rise even more, near the boiling point. SHE LEFT?! I knew that was probably the reason, but having it made into a true fact, just made me want to explode. How dare she?! Doesn't she know who I am? Well apparently not, but she will. Even if I have to freeze hell over, she will learn her place.

"Alpha?" Owen jumped back at the murderous look Cullen had just sent his way. "I probably should have mentioned this right away, but there was something I was able to dig up on Angel. I don't know the exact address where she lives, but I do know that her school is barely five minutes away.

"Where?" demanded Cullen. It is about time I should pay a visit to my run-away.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Finally the last class of the day! I honestly had no idea how the hell I was able to get through all the prior classes. Five classes in one day were really draining me. But at last it's my last class, and physics was always fun for me. It also helped that my professor always made class very entertaining. He never liked to just give a lecture. He preferred to show by example. So every time we had class, there was always some kind of demonstration or lab that we had to do with our groups. I know in this class, that my mind would be too busy participating in the activities, so that I wouldn't have to think about Cullen.

I wonder if he is mad at me. Well of course he is mad! I did just lie and then ditched him. Well, I just had to get away! I already had mixed feelings about him, and it was beginning to really frighten me. Well that's in the past now. I probably won't ever see him again. I will just stay away from those floors for about a week, and then everything will be back to normal. Then why am I feeling disappointed in knowing that fact? Do I want to see him again? UGH! This guy is driving me crazy!

Without even realizing it, the time flew so fast. I was slowly packing up my books into my backpack while just talking and laughing with a few of my friends. Even the professor joined into our conversation and was laughing. We all bid him goodnight, and that we will see him on Wednesday.

I was walking with one of my friends to our cars. But she parked over in the opposite parking lot that I did, so we said goodnight to one another and went our separate ways. I always hated walking all alone to my car at this time of night. I know it is only nine O'clock and everything around here is lit up, but for some reason I couldn't explain the uneasiness that I was feeling now.

As I turned the corner, knowing fully well that my car will be there, I never expected for what I was seeing right now. There were three black Suburban SUVs' and one black Escalade completely surrounding my car. All the SUVs had dark tinted windows, and for some reason I just knew that the windows were bullet proof. But that is not what stopped me in my tracks. It was him.

Cullen was leaning against my car casually, with his arms folded in front of him. He slowly raised his head and looked at me. "Uh Ohh," I whispered quietly. He didn't look friendly at all. Even from here, I can see the anger in his eyes. I really have done it this time. Just then, I thought perhaps, if I just started to back up slowly, so that I may have a chance to get aw...

All chances of getting away ended abruptly. I backed up into someone, and I turned right away around to see who it was, thinking I may ask that person for help. But as I turned around, I saw him dressed in complete black attire, and just staring at me without any expression. And I just knew he worked for Cullen. Double crap! I had little choice—especially since this guy just grabbed my arm, none to gentle by the way—and started to walk me towards where Cullen was still leaning against my car.

He finally pushed himself off my car, and walked the last couple of steps to me. Grabbed my arm and started to pull me towards the Escalade.

Slightly panicking, I had to say something. "Cullen, wait..."

"Don't say a word," he growled out to me with such a fierce voice, that I felt myself tremble right to my very soul.

He practically dragged me to the SUV and opened the door. Waiting for me to step in. "Don't make this harder than it has to be Angel."

"But Cullen...my car...and I can't, I mean, I won't..."

"Get in NOW!" He roared out, making me jump in fear.

I had little choice but to listen to him. I got into the SUV and slid completely to the opposite end of the seat. He climbed in right after me. I put my backpack between us, giving me a false sense of protection. Yea, like a damn backpack is really going to stop him. He just grabbed my backpack and threw it over into the trunk. I saw that Gavin got into the drivers seat, and started the ignition. I looked at him through the rear view mirror, trying to show him with my eyes to help me out. He just slowly shook his head at me and sighed sadly. And I knew that he wouldn't be able to help me, even if he tried.

I looked over at Cullen. He was just staring ahead, still bristling with anger. I had to get him to talk to me somehow, to just try and...and... explain what you idiot? That you ditched and lied to him with a good reason?

"Cullen, please say something to me," Angel whispered very softly, afraid that she would set him off.

"Angel," he tried to take a calming breath, "You really don't want me to talk to you right now. As nothing good will come out of my mouth at this very moment."

"But Cullen, I ... I mean, if I don't come home right away, my family will start to worry." Angel tried to explain to him, trying to make him see her reasoning.

All Cullen did was whip out his phone and held it to her. "Then by all means, call your family, and tell them you are going to grab something to eat with a few people."

"You know you don't have to talk to me in that way! I know I shouldn't have lied and ditched you but you left me no choice." Angel stated angrily. She slapped his hand away; as she pulled out her own cell phone. Calling up her family, she just told her mom, that she was going to go out to grab a bite to eat, and that she will come home as soon as they were finished.

Cullen didn't know what to think at this moment. She actually had the audacity to be angry at me? I'm the one that should be angry...not her! But at the same time, I just wanted to pull her into my arms and kiss her hungrily again.

After a while, Angel couldn't take the silence anymore. "So, Gavin..." clearing my throat "where are you taking us to eat?" as I was trying to ignore the brute sitting next to me. Two can play this game!

Gavin looked up into his rear viewed mirror and smiled slightly. "Just a quiet place that we often go to eat when ever the mood strikes. You will like it. It's the best steakhouse in the country."

I couldn't help but smile a bit, seeing how excited he was getting over the fact he will be eating soon. "Do I know this place?"

"You should know it," Gavin replied. "I think everyone should know it by now. It's called Faol." Gavin couldn't help but smile at the name. Faol meant 'Wolf' in Gaelic. Just the perfect name for a restaurant run by an Alpha and all the employees were from the pack.

"Are you serious? We are going there? But I have heard that you honestly have to make a reservation practically a year in advanced!" I was completely astounded. No one that I knew has ever eaten there. Not only was it hard to get in, but it was expensive as hell. "But how are you able to get in without a problem? Did you make reservations or something?"

"You can say something like that," Gavin responded, grinning.

"Angel, I own the restaurant, among other businesses." Cullen finally stated. He had time to calm down a bit and finally tried to figure out how he would tell her that she belongs to him.

Angel looked over to Cullen. Trying to read his expression...trying to figure out what he was thinking. He didn't sound that angry anymore, but then again, it could all be a cover. Angel just nodded, and leaned back against the seat. Waiting for when we arrive at the place.

In no time, we finally arrived. Cullen got out of the car, and held his hand up towards me. I stared down at his hand, biting my lower lip. Come on Angel, don't be an idiot. It's just a stinking hand! Oh, but a strong and large hand. I wonder if what they say about large hands is really true, or was it feet? I just happened to look up at him, and caught his smirk. I couldn't help but blush, at the thoughts I was having. I gave in, and gave him my hand.

Cullen gently helped me out of the SUV. He didn't let go of my hand right away like I expected him too. I tried to pull my hand out of his grasp, but he just tightened his hold on it. I glared up at him, but he just ignored it. As soon, as we entered, a pretty hostess greeted Cullen with the brightest smile. She then looked over at me, and gave me a cold look. Well damn. She made us follow her to a private room, where she seated and told us that a waitress should be here very soon to take our orders.

Cullen nodded. He noticed the look Sheila gave to Angel. Sighing softly, and so it begins. All the bitches in my pack will be competing with one another or there will be some that will be very curious as to who has snared the interest of their great Alpha. And now, Sheila is going to inform Layla that I was escorting another woman, and the real fights will begin. But I will need to warn the pack that Angel is not one of us—or at least not yet. She is off limits to everyone.

In no time, our waitress Eilis came over to the table and told us all the specials and handed menus to everyone. I looked up at her, and I could tell she was curious who I was, but in all, she seemed very friendly. I just smiled up at and thanked her. I looked down on the menu, trying to figure out what to get, but the prices stopped me. Are you serious? I could buy a pair of shoes or two for these prices. Biting my lower lip, I started to really contemplate if I should really order anything.

Cullen was staring at Angel all this time. I couldn't help but look at her. You can read basically every single emotion/thought through her expressions. Smiling softly, when I was able to see the surprise on her face—probably she looked at the prices. But now I had to breathe and control myself. With her biting you lower lip like that, just tortured me. I wanted to just reach over and kiss her deeply and show her how much I want her right now.

"So Angel, what do you plan on getting?" Gavin asked softly, curious to find out more of her likes and dislikes. I really hope she isn't a vegetarian. That may cause a few bumps in the road in the future.

"Umm," looking down at the menu, still not being able to get passed the prices, "probably nothing."

"Nothing?" Gavin asked slightly alarmed. Oh please don't let her be a vegetarian... oh please. "Surely there is something to your liking. You don't like anything on the menu?"

"Angel you must eat something." Cullen stated softly.

"Ohh, that's not it Gavin. All the choices look wonderful." Said Angel, while she bit her lower lip again—it was a nervous habit that was hard to break. I'll just have a sandwich or something when I get home. "I guess I'm not so hungry."

"You're not hungr..."

But Cullen didn't even get to finish that sentence, as all the sudden my stomach decided to make its presence known as it growled. I felt my cheeks burning up now in embarrassment. Stupid stomach...you just had to growl now?!

Gavin just busted out laughing. "That was just precious Angel. Just perfect timing!" He continued to chuckle now. Everyone was grinning at the table.

I timidly took a fast glance at Cullen, and saw him smiling at me. Damn, he is gorgeous. How can a man be so handsome? It really should be illegal! Looking back down at the menu, our waitress came back and asked if we were all ready. Everyone started to tell Eilis what they wanted, and finally Cullen placed his order, "and Angel will then have the same as me." I looked up at him shocked. He actually ordered for me? Eilis left right away, and Cullen looked back at me. I couldn't take my eyes away from him. We both just kept on staring at one another. It was soon getting very intense, as I was able to read the smoldering look in his eyes clearly, and I knew what he wanted. Me...yikes! I started to squirm slightly in my seat, feeling my heart beat picking up a notch or two. Come on Angel breathe! You need to get a hold of yourself. Taking a few deep breaths, it seemed like I calmed down as best as I could.

Cullen kept on trying to pay attention to what everyone else at the table was saying, but it was so hard to focus, when I just knew what Angel was thinking. Then seeing her squirm slightly, almost made me lose what little control I had left. If we were alone, I would have probably taken her right here on the table. I know I had to stay patient. We didn't even get a chance to talk. Where do I even begin? It's not like I can just go out and say, 'Angel, we are all werewolves. And I'm telling you this because you are my mate. We will mate in front of everyone, while I am in my other form, and then my knot will be stuck in you. Hopefully we mate near when you are ovulating, so that the chances of me getting you pregnant would increase dramatically. So what do you say?'

"It seems Angel, that we will have to talk after dinner," Cullen sighed softly.

"Well, why can't you just tell me what you need to say right now, so we can get this over with," Angel rushed out fast. Not wanting to stay any longer then necessary. I'm afraid that I won't be able to control myself much longer.

"This is something that needs to be discussed privately. Besides, I wouldn't want to get interrupted by anyone." Cullen stated carefully. I really don't want to scare her off.

Angel nodded her head slowly. Ok, if he wants to talk, then I guess I will have to wait longer. Besides, he is my only way back to my car.

Soon the food arrived for everyone. I thanked Eilis once she placed the plate in front of me. At that time, she looked up at me and smiled right away. Everyone at the table began to eat. I couldn't help but notice, every single person had some kind of steak and not only that, but from the looks of it, it was all raw. Thank God, Cullen was smart enough to figure out I like my food cooked. I like my meat dead, not red. And OOHH this food is so delicious. As soon as I put the first piece of meat into my mouth, it seemed as if all my taste buds came alive. No wonder this place costs you an arm and a leg.

There was general conversation going throughout the meal. I found out that Gavin likes to make jokes all the time. I couldn't help but smile a few times with the comments he made. Owen seemed very serious. Does that guy ever smile? You could easily tell this group is really close to one another—as if they were all family.

Without even realizing it, the meal slowly finished. I couldn't believe I was that hungry. I ate everything from my plate—of course Gavin took a few pieces from my plate and then Cullen began to glare at him, as if scolding him, and all Gavin did was just to smile back. All I could do was to shake my head slowly at them both, trying not to laugh out loudly.

Cullen was the first to stand. He couldn't take it anymore. He had to get Angel some where a bit more private, so that he can finally try to explain a few things. But still, how do I even start? I held my hand out, so that Angel could grab a hold of it while standing up. Surprisingly, she took it without hesitating. While holding her hand, I began to walk us outside toward the car.

"Cullen, what about my car?" Angel asked softly.

"We can drive you back to your car, since I doubt it you would allow one of the guys to pick it up and drop it off at your house—which would mean, you will have to tell me where you live."

Angel shook her head no.

I figured as much that she wouldn't want to reveal that bit of information just yet. While everyone started to head back to the SUVs' that we came in, I led the way into the garage, where the pack normally store cars for when they are needed. I walked to the passenger door, holding it open, so that Angel could get in. Once seated, I softly shut the door, and walk around, and got in. Starting the car, I took off. I drove to the forest preserve, where I know we would be alone. I can sense that Angel started to get nervous as soon as she saw where we were headed. "Angel, I can assure you, you are perfectly safe with me. I would never physically hurt you if I can help it."
