So the whole chemistry class build up was just to set the stage for their getting to know each other? I guess this was kind of interesting as science fiction, but the plot was just some punk figuring out a way to rape women. So he used an electronic device instead of drugs to confuse, impair, and deceive the victim. He even ties them down. Yeah, this story should be under rape instead of science fiction. If he had developed some super effective date rape drug, instead of this virtual reality machine, that would be mainly a rape story too, not a science fiction story. Think about it. And rape is not entertaining or fun to read about.
