I don't know what Cajuns call what I mean with "snort", but it is just an almost silent expulsion through the nose. I know Cajuns do it, having spent years visiting in the area around Houma.

The first comment is right on: every character in stories by this author makes snorting or snickering sounds. Very distracting, and not designed to keep readers interested.

Where has Anonymous been, if he just discovered this story to comment about after more that two years? He should know by now that many readers are not put off by my style, and if they really are, they avoid my stories.
