I always enjoy reading your take on fairy tales, Red. My only real beef is that Hedwig is a girl's name, so it threw me a little every time I saw the king's name. :P

Loved your story too, but to add to what the other person said, Astrid is a girl's name too. I don't really care, it was a great story, but when I saw the other person say that about Hedwig... well I thought I'd throw that in there.
