Good point, but not entirely correct. I do like like Laura ... a lot, and deal with again in a forthcoming chapter that is hotter than my usual stuff. But Val, Conrad and MARTY (who appears more in the later parts) are the main characters, as you will see. Remember it's a novel, characters are still being developed. I do hope you stay with it. I'm enjoying the writing part, I hope you feel the reading is fun too.
