where is this going? why so many details sbout every character- insignificant or not?

less time should be spent on food descriptions and redundant information to prove Peter's knowledge of asian culture and more should be spent on plot development and creating a clear, concise path for this story.

A positive: I really appreciate you having a continuous flow of chapters. I hate reading a multi-chpt. story where the author akes weeks or months to provide the next chapter. so frustrating! so even though there are many things that bug me about this story, I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge my thanks and appreciation for your daily updates.
