I am interested in exploring raw erotic desire, especially a woman's desire. I am not interested in prettified versions of "female sexuality" or happy stories. The stories I write have humor, but they are mostly focused on what it feels like to be put into question by pushing the sexual envelope, giving yourself over to another human being, or having him/her give himself/herself over to you. Most of these stories involve a significant degree of physical, but most of all mental, control. They concern self-abasement and debasement, cruelty and tenderness, pleasure and danger. Basically they are about exposing the demand that each of us makes on the other beyond the safe and socially-scripted confines of romantic love, marriage, family, and community. I did not write them with the intention of providing yet more cyber "masturbation material." If you get off to them, fine. But the main thing is to ask: why did it get me off/not get me off? What was the nature of the demand?
