The response to Milk and Cookies, my Christmas contest story, has been overwhelming and surprising. It has over 700 votes now -- my highest besides that is the first chapter of Brad, which has been posted for almost 5 1/2 years and has just shy of 200. Seriously, I just wrote this story to take a break from Brad. Never expected it to be so well-received. I'm flattered that everyone likes it so much. I didn't enter the contest to win -- I entered because I've never entered one, and I had a good idea that I could use for this one. Looks like I'll have a decent chance of winning, but even if I don't, it's been a pretty awesome experience.
Brad Chapter 12 is about 2/3 written. Will keep at it, and hopefully my editors will be slaving over it by the end of the week.
If there are any non-main characters in either of my series that you'd like to see a separate story on.. maybe their backstory, or what happens after Brad rolls through their town or Tim finishes head-shrinking them... please let me know. Reader interaction is excellent and necessary.
