I was born and lived most of my life in Chicago, IL (hence, the name :>) until I got absolutely sick of freezing my ass off in February and moved down to Kentucky. I have written for my own enjoyment for numerous years.

I have had your typical writer's grab bag of jobs, from field hand in a riding stable to a senior credit manager at a major retailer, from gigs on the shady side of legal to a housekeeper in a nursing home. Through all of that all I wanted to do was write, guess I have spent a lot of time in field research(grin)

I am currently engaged to be married in August of 2002 to a wonderful lady who is not quite as much of a freak as I am, but close. We have no children(yet), but we do share our home with eight(yes eight)cats, two of whom are fighting under my computer desk as I type
