Gotta write something, evidently...
I love to read well written stories, erotic or not. So many people on this site have the ability to create characters and situations that thoroughly captivate me. And they put in on this site for free! How cool is that??
Gay stories are what I usually read, but I do love good sci-fi! It amazes me that so many authors of gay themed stories are female! But I get annoyed and frustrated by otherwise good female writers that create gay men/boys that are feminine, and emotional cripples. I'm not implying females are necessarily emotional cripples. Strong females are highly appealing. And emotionally vulnerable characters can be hot, but wimpiness is a big, huge, turn off. Drama for drama's sake, not to advance a plot, is extremely annoying, and unfortunately, so many female writers seem to delight in that.
What bothers me about many amateur stories I read here, especially the interesting ones, are the frequent typos and grammatical errors. Hopefully this site helps those writers hone their skills.
