For You

Seconds hang heavily,
Days pass like years.

Thinking of your lips,
That taste just like tears.

Soft and warm -- they help to form,
My vision of you.

Your caress lingers like
The warm summer breeze.

Your fingers play like
Sparrows on a bright spring day.

Your skin so smooth
Leaves me wanting to kiss more.

Hopeful of what
The future has in store.
