-Dedicated to my patron Mannanan Mac Lyr

One foot on land the other in water is he who
stands between the worlds,
A kindly uncle who helps you learn to swim
guides between the worlds,
He who leads me to my ancestors my fallen brethren
walks between the worlds,
A hand on my shoulder lets me know he's there
standing between the worlds,
He who opens the portals claims me as kindred
guarding between the worlds,
Accepting my toll the ferryman takes my offering
walking me between the worlds.
