Every night I toss and turn
Dream of you and start anew
An hour passes, I'm still awake
Then I sleep, and then I ache
An hour more, I've drenched the bed
A nightmare, not having you

The cycle renews
then it changes
an hour more
I'm freezing
Needing your warmth
Needing your heart
to defrost mine

Oh will it never end
I silently weep
onward the counting of sheep
