Loving & wanting you
For so long I have been blind
So many years wasted
Never realizing you were always mine
The sparkle in your eyes
Was all I should have needed
To understand how you felt
Instead I passed them by unheeded
The fiery touch of your fingertips
Always ignited my soul
But always pushed to one side
My emotions I had to control
So often you were on my mind
I could not trust the feelings deep inside
Throwing my world into turmoil
Feelings of love I had to hide
Now I realize my folly
Your love is such a treasure
One of which to be proud
In your love there is so much pleasure
Forever my love will be yours
Not just here & now
But throughout all of time
My undying love to you I vow
