by My Erotic Tale
A very imaginative story. There were passages that read like prose poetry. I'm afraid some mechanical snags (gin for grin) may hurt the score, but the storytelling is first-rate.

I love the trinity river, where do you live? Texas?
I absolutely loved this story, thank you. I will be keeping my eyes on the sun from now on and watching for nude midnight bathers:)
Let a lone a beautiful legend of a river. So much fore thought went into this story. Thank you Art for bringing the level to another high.
Your words dance upon the page. Your story sings to the heart. Your wishes convey that Earth day should be preserved.

This is wonderful, Art! I loved how you wove one of the old stories into this....simply lovely.
I loved this story. It reminds me of one of Gene Wolfe's best short stories. Couple of typos though!
"Her face slowly rose to soak up the suns (sun's) mesmerizing"
Superb!
Always interested in legends and myths, this story gave me some beautiful reading.
Thanks and good luck.
Rumple was right when he said it read like prose poetry.
A wonderful tale, beautifully told. Thank you.
Congrats Art. This is an excellent tale of power, desire and sacrifice. Needed a little more editing to make it perfect, but finely told for all that.
...romantic, heart warming. You have a wonderful imagination and the ability to share it. Thank you! ~Minx
