Beautiful!

I like it, the way fate and spirits collide is well written. An interesting idea and I love what you did with it.

delicious

Well, it's a little "eau de rose" but I enjoyed it. The person who commented terrible must be another competitor (or maybe French, when that would mean fantastic!)

Good luck. R

Sweet!

I loved it! I really liked the promise of a fresh start for Billy, although perhaps I would've liked to have heard more :)

creatively different

Well, it was certainly a different story than the typical hearts and flowers, which is why I enjoyed reading it.

Very creatively different.

Good luck in the contest.

Very nice.

Would've liked just a bit more, but short is good too. I love these kinds of stories. Good luck in the contest.

Terrific.!

I think he meant to say Terrific instead of Terrible as I gave you a '5' and a vote of 100 and the one that spelled Terrific wrong did to I am sure. Loved the short story and the feeling that came along with it.! Valentines was always my special Holiday - but now even I don't have anyone to share it with.! Thank you.

Really Sweet

This was a really sweet story. I am a sucker for happy endings anyhow. This one hasn't ended yet but, when it does, it will be a happy one.

Captivating

Very captivating story I hope it continues because it was way too short. :)

Thank you for writing this. Valentines has no meaning for me, your message does, but grief is not always about the dead.

Romance Is the Greatest Immortality

This sweet story puts a different turn of ROMANCE and eternity onto the basic idea of Valentine's Day. My Mom still communes with my Dad, who "died" in 1990, and I with my wife, who ceased living in 2000. The permanence of loving souls is well depicted here. Thank you!

Very Different But Very Nice

What a sweet story this was, and I have to admit, it brought tears to my eyes. It's too bad that Literotica only allows five starts, because this one is worthy of so many more.

5 stars - To me 'soul-mate' relationships are continuous through out millennia. Our human bodies rely on energy to survive. You cannot destroy energy - only alter it. So I think that this energy continues to flow through my ancestors and every once in a long while we are joined with our soul-mates and live together through another lifetime. This continues forever.
