I don't know that I actually believe this story, because I can tell you from having spent a few years "in country" in what used to be, and still is referred to as Rhodesia by us "blancs" that the native tribes know full well that to kidnap and rape a white woman means death. Africa is a huge and completely misunderstood place; the largest and most impenetrable of the continents, it has every possible climate. They don't know how to tend the crops or the animals. And if a woman like the one in this story was gone for this length of time, she would(no shit) have been dead.

This short was presented with a heavy handed concern for detail. The story ran right to the meat, forget the potatoes. It was bizarre and funny with poetic license I'm full force. This author took full control of his story. I found it to be quite entertaining. Thank you!

All over the world people marry with sweet words of unending passion. But then when their better half gives in to temptation, even just once, it's time for tears, self-pity, revenge and greed, all even in the name of religion. Of course, the next mate may well be a retired hooker but the important thing is that one he/she swore to love forever feels unending shame. What I like about these stories, here, is the concept that when married, one loves his/her mate no matter what. This should be a love message far beyond something one would acquire in a pious theology lecture...

What a Fun and Epic Story for 5 big blazing stars! The wife thinks she can have a lover and hubby won't care or even notice. LOL, Hubby's always notice. They always care.
