I was built during the war by A.V. Roe & Co Ltd at Yeadon, West Yorkshire and delivered to the RAF who shipped me to Australia as a light transport. Following an uneventful military career I was bought by the author's father at a disposals auction when she was three years old. He performed my civil conversion and I then received my C. of A. and went to work as a feeder airliner.
