My main pursuits in life are people watching, talking to people, and hiking/cycling the world one mile at a time, often combined. If I have any downtime I enjoy reading and writing, both fiction and non-fiction. I enjoy stories which are well written, stretch my knowledge of English, with a well constructed plot. My favourite erotica gets my pulse racing with cheating, lies, deceit, 'lying by omission' and hypocrisy. I don't like BTB, gratuitous violence, domestic violence, anal (what's wrong with the front door?), or male MCs that are too perfect. I recently submitted my first yarn in which I tried to be contrarian and make the male MC a scoundrel cheating on his wife. I now realise that it required a lot more work to meet the high standard that I expect of other authors, so I will try harder next time. I have other yarns in development which I hope to publish in the not too distant future, as long as there isn't too much good hiking and cycling weather!
