"Why Kratos?"
I'm a stocky, broad-set individual with a military background, and take inspiration from Greek mythology. Kratos = "divine personification of strength". I am not Greek.
"Oh Kratos, like the video game?"
No, it's not a reference/reverence to a video game.
"You mean Krakatoa, right?"
No. That's a volcano.
