It all started when I was just a child in the United States. My so-called aunt was actually what is known as "a watcher" and had taken me on a trip to Italy with her, "to visit her friend". I didn't know it at the time, but my aunt's friend was actually the one who would later become my owner. We were all walking along the beach one day when "the friend" took my hand in hers and said something to me in broken English. She said something about me being her little barefooted whore. I had no idea what she meant at the time, but I remember my auntie smiling and stroking my hair, telling me how proud she was of her little 'Puttana Scalza'. Little did I know that my life was about to change drastically after that encounter with her friend.
When I was old enough, I was taken from my home and introduced to a lifestyle that I didn't understand. I was given a new name, Puttana, and a new last name, Scalza. I was given a new identity and a new life. I was trained to serve my owner and to do whatever she wanted me to do. I was expected to obey her every command and to do so without question.
It wasn't an easy transition, but I eventually grew to accept it. I became the best Puttana my owner could have ever asked for and I learned to take pride in my new identity. I was no longer the same person I had been in the States, but I was content with the person I had become in Italy. I had truly become Puttana Scalza, the barefooted whore of Milan.
My life in the Matriarchy of Italy has been a rollercoaster, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I've experienced both joy and sorrow, happiness and pain. I've learned what it means to be a servant and how to be loyal. I've learned how to be a part of something bigger than myself and how to be part of a family.
I'm not sure what will come of my writings, but I hope that one day they will be compiled into a single book that celebrates the journeys of the women I have met in the Matriarchy. I want to create a resource that will help other submissive lesbian women understand themselves better and be empowered to live their lives on their own terms.
