5"11" white male - don't like giving age in numbers anymore, so I'll just say, I'm at level 66. Sounds more bad ass - lol. Retired from work, but not from life. Love making flower beds and flowers.
I just started to dabble in writing, if that's what you can call it - not a professional, obviously - I try to keep true to what we old military guys would also try to instill in our subordinates.
K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid! Nothing derogatory towards anyone, that's just for me. I figure if you need a dictionary to look words up, then you're not reading, that's called researching! I want my stories to be simple and enjoyable to whomever reads them, whether you have a PhD or a GED.
I've probably forgotten more than some will ever know, but that leaves more room to learn and grow in my honest opinion. I have no need to impress anyone - if you like what I write in a story, great. If not, it's your choice.
I'm going to give a few elements of the story starting in chapter 3. Hopefully, I'll be able to continue this story beyond the 9 chapters written already.
