UPDATE: I should probably post something public; it's been enough months. I wrote most of the first two chapters of The Sculptor over the course of a two-week period of intense manic energy which it's been kind of hard to match since then. Suffice to say my unique blend of sadbrain mental issues makes it kind of hard to match that pace in the long term. I have on my hard drive four additional chapters half-written, a completed first draft of an unrelated one-off story which still isn't ready for publication, and concepts/outlines for two other one-offs, as well as first drafts for most of an entire non-fantasy multi-chapter story I wrote before even imagining The Sculptor. But I've been going through some stuff, and these days it's hard for me to work up the energy to start working in the first place, and harder for me to maintain that energy long enough to power through the more difficult parts of individual chapters and finish them. But I assure you I haven't forgotten this project and still really want to see it through to the end (which I already have plotted out). Thanks to anyone who has left feedback or ratings, or displayed enough confidence in me to follow this profile. I'll be back.
In the meantime, if you enjoyed The Sculptor, I highly recommend watching the movie Cashback. Watching it when I was 18 or 19 influenced me way more than I should probably admit in public. It's on Netflix now.
