The way I see it, each of us is a cover band. We've got some set of fantasy or narrative or imagery that we repeat in our roleplay in our own way. A different tempo, a horn section, a brand new key.
It occurs to me, having written that, that maybe we're actually all DJs spinning and clipping and weaving. Like the guy who took "The Kids Are Alright" and mashed it up with "My Hips Don't Lie." Too bad I suck as a DJ.
Dammit, let's stop with the music jokes. I'm here to flirt with weird people in weird ways. And who knows? Maybe I'll play something off the new EP.
