I enjoy writing about realistic people in realistic situations. Love and Sex are some of the most powerful forces in nature for any species. For we humans all the more so, because we add our community’s morays and our personal beliefs as guides, or in many cases, impediments to satisfying our sexual desires and happiness.
My stories are not quick descriptions of sex acts. Instead, like most satisfying relationships, they involve emotional and physical factors that hopefully lead to “Making Love”, in all senses of those words. Therefore, some detailed background of the people and circumstances around their lives are a big part of my stories. Moreover, after the sex parts, I’ve tried to conclude with descriptions of the consequences, both good and bad of their actions. In summary, I’ve tried to paint a full picture of the build-up, passion and then after-math of the encounter. It should be a full story.
I’ve tried to write from the perspective of the character telling the story, using language, feelings and descriptions that would be appropriate from their personal perspective. Therefore, you will notice the tone and style will differ between the “voice” of a man or women, younger person versus and older person, single or married.
I’ve tried hard to avoid unrealistic descriptions of sex acts, sex organs and other physical characteristics. In the animal kingdom Homo Sapiens Sapien (humans) have the largest sex organs relative to body mass. Nonetheless, erections 18 inches in length or Size GGG breasts weighing 50 pounds are not realistic. However, on occasion I do admit to using certain literary liberties to enhance the imagery for situational purposes.
Also, some may find some specific language used to be offensive or degrading to a specific character, body part, gender, or social group. I NEVER intend to insult or demean any person or people, real or imagined. Instead, some words are intentionally used to amplify the situation or context. Sometimes a “naughty” word is necessary for impact, or to adjust the tempo or “heat” of the situation. Including by those who might be the target of the pejorative. Words are used to paint a brighter picture.
All Characters are consenting adults of legal age. They may engage in extra-marital relationships, both physical and emotional, or have multiple sex partners. There may be social use of intoxicants, including alcohol, smoking or “lite” drug use, such as marijuana or other culturally acceptable “drugs”.
Most of my stories are set in modern times, believing that contemporary readers will more instinctively understand the story and issues. However, when I use historical settings, I hope the reader will interpret the story through the lens of those times. You don’t need to be a historian to understand the story, but I think most readers will understand how a 1950’s Housewife would differ from a Homemaker in the 2000’s.
While violence, force, crime, and other illegal acts are unfortunately a part of our world, I’ve never known them to exist in a successful and loving relationship, so I don’t use them unless absolutely necessary for the storyline, and even then, only as background.
Finally, I wish to express my deep thanks for those people who’ve edited and helped make these stories better, both credited and not. You know who you are. I’ve spent some time writing these stories and these unsung heroes have similarly invested their time to give valuable corrections and suggestions. Nonetheless, any errors or messaging are mine alone.
I hope you enjoy my writing. If you haven’t laughed, lusted, cringed, or cried, I’ll consider my efforts a failure.
