I have been a writer for most of my life. I write erotica because I find it an easier, more passionate way to share emotional expression, than when two people are actually engaged in making love/enjoying sex.
Very often we don't even use words when we are at the peak of pleasure. Personal experience tells me that primal sounds are how we communicate, as well as with body language or with caresses.
Writing erotica, for me,is more about emotion and the primal instincts inherant in all of us, than it is about the 4 letter words or the images they produce.
I can say the same things in an enjoyable, sensual, acceptable way without always using the "F" word.
Admittedly the shock or stun value of our slang is sometimes the best way to drive home a point,(no pun intended), and I don't judge others by their use of our language. I may judge on how it's abused however.
