Been wanting to explore some new settings that have been on the back burner for a while. Recently a fellow writer challenged me to create a world where incest was an accepted in society. Basically I went to the past and how the royals were obsessed with purity of blood, and how that spreads to the general public as well. It becomes so widespread that family romantic relationships are very common and even celebrated in popular culture. Of course as years go by there's no stopping science and people learn about DNA and Genetics. This starts an uproar as incest is deeply enmeshed into society. Government steps in and legislates that close family members can only marry and have children every 5 generations. Wanting to explore relationships in this world.
5th Gen World Scenarios:
Meanwhile Back at the Ranch
A girl is raised by secular well educated parents who have rejected and despise the 5th Gen rule as backwards and harmful. Still she's never really fit into that world and has always felt a pull towards the norms and traditions that have been denied her. One summer between college semesters she learns about her estranged grandfather, a farmer and preacher with old fashioned values in the heartland of the country. She's enraptured and watches his sermons every week on social media in secret. Overwhelmed by some unspeakable force she's sets out cross country to see him and his world for herself.
She wants to be wowed
A son is dumbstruck in love with his mother and his father could care less about anything taking place outside of the golf course. They're a 5th gen family so it's time to have the talk. Mom's an old fashioned type of lady and expects to be wooed properly. No sex until marriage.
Giving Mom the Boot:
Brenda is a bad wife and an even worse mother. Just ask her daughter. She's grown tired of her mom disappearing for months at a time, constantly drinking, popping pills and partying. Her father is a kind, sweet man, who showers her with attention and he deserves better. Time to form a plan and show dad just how much better he can do.
Mom's The Word
A young man has through his own genius and hard work just made a lot of money. He couldn't have done it without his very supportive mother. He wants to repay that spending time with her and spoiling her rotten. Unaware he's becoming the man of the house. (Can be played in or out of 5th Gen world.)
Gran Out West
A grandmother takes a long trip to west coast to visit her grandson and see how he's doing after relocating last year for a big promotion. She feels so at home and vibrant settling into a routine at home. She loves everything about living on the coast...except her grandsons girlfriend. She doesn't even know how to cook or clean....all skin and bones. Working so many hours she barely has time to date. Grandson is fifth gen maybe it's time to show him the benefits of an old fashioned girl.

My Hero
A girl from a broken home and a borderline abusive mother is heartbroken that her bff is going away to college and leaving her behind. She goes back to old habits of pills and partying. One night she passes out on her friends lawn only to be nursed back to health by her bff's very sweet and paternal dad(with his own demons). They start to learn about each other that day. What might develop?
The Island
Set in a world where full gender conversion is possible on a genetic level but is outlawed due to archaic laws and morals. There's a secret network in place to help people become everything they'd ever imagined they should be and could be and a path leading to a mysterious man made island paradise in the South Pacific. All this technology and secrecy costs money though and those fitting the bill will expect the perfect spouse in return.
