ok since i didn't really flesh this out much the date was a lovely occasion she cooked me a terrific meal and we chatted until the wee hours. our no sex promise was honored although there was kissing and even a tiny bit of petting. she's really bright and funny and i see no sign of being impatient, the one quality i find off-putting in men. she started to flirt a bit with me back a while... then covid happened so it ended up taking more than 2 years for her to ask me out. meanwhile we texted a bit and emailed so we knew each other much more than any other first date i've ever had.
