Too many people have vastly opposing chat introductions. 1. Don't say hi, rip into it. 2. DON'T rip into it, just say hi.
I do as I do in real life, I say hello, how are you first and see if you want to talk.
I will use english, full sentences. I am descriptive and usually not a swift wham bam chatter, I am never the mid convo ditcher.
