Although I have a science-related degree, I've always done well with writing. No, I don't have a formal English degree, but I'm quite handy with grammar and spelling -- I can use to, too, and two, who's and whose, and even more its and it's all correctly; and I can't help but correct stories in my head as I read, even though I don't ever tell the authors so. I don't enjoy continuity nearly as well; keeping large character lists straight isn't my forte. I'm most comfortable with lesbian / bisexual stories; I'm least comfortable with heavy BDSM and women-as-object stories. Curiously (especially to me), I'm also OK with transexual stories, and I have a soft spot in my .... well, you know where, for pegging, although I'm not comfortable with forced feminization at all.
