Greetings fellow writer. The Literotica volunteer editor community has been a wonderful resource for me. Now it is time to pay it forward. Hit me! My experience: I have been writing sci-fi, fantasy, and horror for almost twenty years. I have been published twice (so far). How I can best help you: For spelling and grammar assistance, I recommend reaching out to one of the other very fine volunteer editors in this community. Where I can best be of assistance is in regard to the pace and flow of your story. Questions I would be happy to help you answer include: Does the dialogue sound natural and authentic? Do you use smell, touch, and sound to add depth to descriptive text? Do you vary sentence structure to avoid eye fatigue? And of course, the ever-popular "show don't tell". What you can expect from me: Unfortunately, I do not have the time for deep dives but I am happy to give your work a quick read and provide a summary of any potential issues you might want to take a second look at, such as the examples noted above.
