Wasnt there a daughter? I don't remember exactly, but I thought she was younger than Jayden.
I was only half paying attention, and saw Ashburn Court in my author activity list, and assumed this was the next chapter...that will teach me to do more than skim a title before clicking on it.
Can't wait for the next chapter!
BTW, I too would love a Shepherd/One Who Understands crossover. Anything to continue Ed's story would make me happy. Maybe you could do more of both series, focusing on the time both of their children are toddlers, or something. Maybe the two meet while at a child's birthday party, or when they take their kids out to chucky cheese or something.
Two huge, muscular, gentle giants, as it were, out with a harem of women and a number of kids...if no one else does, the women in each group, at least, would notice each other. I'm sure Ed could think of something in the HVAC field that needs a helping hand from a mechanical engineer, or at least something the two could geek out over.
Thanks, and keep up the good writing. I have read, and loved, pretty much all of your series. I'm mainly following Shepherd, One Who Understands, and Satyr play, but I also read the switching gears and Jack series.
Your in my favorite authors list, and I go back and reread my favorites of yours at least two or three times a year!
Thank you. Love it when there are maps. Would love another missive or two about the residents. To quote Dickens:
"Please, sir, may I have some more... ?"
Thanks for sharing. 5* Slainté
I've been trying to create a map for more than a year and could not get the "key" properly proportioned. Thanks for your effort.
I am waiting for your next chapter!
Your character in your stories come to life
Appreciate you doing this for your readers! Thanks!!!! I never get tired of reading about Ben Shepherd's adventures and looking forward to more!!!
I read your great story, Drive, and that led me to the adventures of Ben Shepard. I just lost days of my life - I couldn’t stop reading! I sure hope you keep it alive.
I just finished reading your series again (for like the 5th time as it's one of my favorite "feel good" series here) and though, not for the first time, that I should jot down all the dramatis personae, and where they lived and came across this...
An excellent and most needed assist for the next time I go through the series :D
Hope to see more of Ben and his extended family in the future
Great work.
I have been reading your Ben Shepherd series. I just started The Shepherd's Crook. I dread reaching the end of the series because I know I will be really missing and longing for more reading about Ben. I saw where you have planned on adding to this series I hope that I will be reading it in the near future. I had a mental picture of Asburn Court in my mind. In fact I had went back and re-read parts of the story to try to remember where each home was located within the circle. Your map helps a lot. I did have the circle set in my mind correctly but the drive when you first enter the court, some of those home owners must come about in the Shepherd's Crook chapters.
I haven't made any comments on your series yet, I am planning on doing that at the end of each book after I finish the entire series.
Thank you! Also, would it be possible to see a list of characters? I am sorry to say, I get lost from time to time.
Note that this is accurate to Crook part 2. By the end of part three, this is no longer fully accurate.

Thanks for laying out the subdivision for us. Now, the only thing I always want to know is what city you set this in.
I now can "see" the neighborhood as depicted in the story. This makes the storyline just that much more fascinating and "real". Thanks for sharing this!!!!
