This is rare and haunting. It leaves much to imagine and touches the heart in a way that is indescribable. Very much a "feeling" poem. I almost wish I had been there as well.

A heart so touched

Is touched

For all eternity.

Heartbreaking, yet tender in it's deceptive simplicity ~ provoking long ago memories ~ the little boy's gift - a pearl of great price.
