To HRT, or not to HRT, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler for the body to suffer
The growths of outrageous raging hormones Or to take HRT against a sea of troubles
And by transitioning, end them.
To transition: toexperience dysphoria,
No more; and by transition to say we end
The dysphoria and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd.
To take HRT, to transition;
To transition, perchance to make it all worse-ay, there's the rub:

For in that transition what will people say, When we have shuffled off this cis coil,
Must give us pause-there's the problem
That makes calamity of so closeted a life.

It took me thirty years to decide to do hrt. And it’s so good. But yeah, life is more complicated.

Beautiful take on The Hamlet Soliloquy.
