If all I need in the universe is just us two
With starshine, pregnant with whispered
Wishes over the heavenly bodies
The steady unity in sacral sexuality
That binds two bodies, aligned in spirit
In one moment of ecstasy, Where nature perpetuates,
While the bees pollinate and the universe revolves around
Itself, we sing about the gore-fest that has become
Our concern, Our relationships, we protest
the very Fabric of our DNA is the truth
Look around you! At the skies above you!
The palaces you have built in the stars,
Where your lofty gods reside, LOOK
At the ground beneath your feet.
The stones angles cobbles of the earth,
Remnants of history, cloven for you.
