Anxiety is a bitch
Can't tell which way is which
It hits all at once
Do I stay or do I bounce
Body shaking
Can't stop crying
Is this real life
Or am I dying
People think I need laughter
They don't understand what's the matter
How can they when I don't understand
The world racing, I'm stuck in quick sand
Afraid of what I'll do
Afraid of what I'll say
Is the light at the end of the tunnel
The beginning of a new day
Dear Goddess, let it be
I miss just being me
I want to be wild and care free
In a world without anxiety
