"force of experienced habit
to love the soul before eyes"
interesting view, never thought about that before.
wondering if you mean love the soul before you love the eyes or
to love the soul that is before your eyes?
or to love the soul that is out before her eyes?
they are all wonderful don't change a thing. Your poems make me think and feel all at once. I wonder if there is a name for that
how long is a sand year?
the amount of time it takes for a rock to become sand, or for sand to wear to nothing but scattered silicon dioxide molecules
perhaps becoming a part of a starfish or sea urchin or snail shell
You create interesting phrases and word pictures as always,
but in this one I have difficulty following the interconnections between the lines.
I don't even understand the how the title relates to the poem.
a friend invited me to view the film, ?Impromptu?
my attempt at a poem happened after viewing.
thank you for your kind words.
Who are you?

thank you, Mixed Precipitations for your insights, as always and eight turned on it's side.
Okay I remember it now-- Aurora! Aurora! Her mother calling to George Sands when she was a child, I think she was in the woods, torturing an amphibian, pretending he was an evil wizard? Good movie. I had forgotten about that. Have to go re-read the poem now that I know its inspiration.
You've got YDD with hat in hand? That has got to be a good one. This one has got to be added to my archival review.
