This matter of my subsistence
Quiet Persistence
Kept at a distance.
Resistance is my design
through lies of omission
Obscured but secure in you
Taking me from this prison behind these walls of indecision,
Hours, days, minutes - forever or just a few
manipulate and capitulate to whatever you need
Just say the word, and I'll bleed

Just say anything.

Because I never feel so incorporeal as I do
When I'm not real to you.
