Your best poem

I think this is the best poem I have seen from you. It deserves its favouriting.

It has a curious but very nice rhythm and a lovely use and combination of words.

It's impossible for me to read something like this and not wonder at the circumstances. What I'm getting from your poem is a double feeling, and I wonder if I'm reading it right. On one hand, the narrator is seeking the "clarity" of his day. On the other, he prefers to remain confused, to not make a fuss about forgiveness and understanding, to let it be. Emotional security would be nice, if it was possible to have. But it's implied that it's not possible, at least, right now.

I read it like it's a request to let things be, for time, and the "happy weekend... and easter, by the by" prolongs this time.
