The poem nicely evokes a somber and nostalgic mood. I like the image of his penis as a cat, curled up and asleep. Chinese donuts? I can only imagine what they might be like. (Shudder.)

The Chinese bakeries are world famous, and of excellent quality. No need to shudder. Most large cities in the US have 'China Towns.' Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City to name just a few. Try one, you will like it!
