but it seemed more poignant to me--as if the affront of a PDA is too painful to cause anything but a glare. still the poem triumphs because it conveys such complexity, such ambivalence--well to me--in so few words.

....vicious poem. So simple and so sharp.

so much more elegant than my usual "fuck you happy couple"
