Sunlight shines upon finger tips

Sparks risen by the touch

I place my lips to cover my path

Slowly sinking to your taste

Skin as soft as the sky

Like clouds that evaporated the sunshine

As if no shade can break the rain

Empty to taste your essence

Pure of sunrays

Burned into my memory

Scorched before it can fade

I travel for the thirst

Linger to feel you melt

Facing the gray

Warmth of my breath

Placed upon your heat

Destined to make rise

Captured by your rapture

Sun blessed by light

Activated a lifeless life

I like this a lot. Evocative and visual.

Loved the featherlight softness of the words close to summer morning's promise of well-deserved sweaty exhaustion that is about to follow. Thanks for sharing.
